2010
Jade “LipsticknCurls” Kendle begins posting on Youtube. She is best known for her curly hair tutorials and by 2013 starts to create branded content. Her first partner? Carol’s Daughter.

2016
Jade lands a lead role in an international Colgate commercial & year-long collaboration. This is also the year she received a Master Degree in Higher Education and transitioned to full-time content creation.

2020
As her platform grows, so does her family! Jade welcomes her first daughter & gets engaged. She is also a member of the 2020 Sephora Squad! Brand partners include Living Proof, Estée Lauder, and Northwestern Mutual.

2021
Jade retires the name “LipsticknCurls” to rebrand her platform to her married name, Jade Godbolt.

2022
With a mission to share more about motherhood and birthing outside of the hospital, Jade is accepted in to the Class of 2022 Youtube Black Voices Fund.

2026
With the arrival of her 5th child, Jade is finding harmony between all the hats she wears and still pouring into her audience. From curls to roller sets, Jade is still here for it all!

SELF-CARE
In this era, Jade is sharing her passion for beauty as a millennial mother through her “mom hair” – The Roller Set! Healthy hair & skin is the mission of her tutorials and recommendations.

FAMILY
Jade created a multi-part series chronicling her 5th pregnancy, home birth and postpartum experience.

FAITH
Finding harmony with so much on her plate is no small feat. She’s always been real about her journey, and in her latest youtube videos, she’s telling it all, like it (really) is.
